A little bit about me.
I've lived in Chicago for the last five years with my small/giant family, making our home on the far north side. I'm working on learning front-end development so I can once again begin to immerse myself in the tech world.
With a background that spans the arts and sciences, I consider my core competency "making stuff make sense." I hope that with a renewed set of tools, I can make the pieces of the internet I touch that much more legible and beautiful.
Hand-Coded HTML
My current focus is writing clean, well formatted, semantic HTML5 by hand to make sure that the content is easy to read, ready for collaboration, and accessible.
Well-Organized CSS
I pride myself on writing CSS that is easy to read and build on. I focus on keeping my CSS lean and fast to load, and I make it a habit to stay up to date on current best practices.
